Marching into #March

March begins on Ash Wednesday, which is the first day of the Christian season of Lent. During the Lenten Season Christians give up something they like or that is important to them. The season lasts for 46 days. Other dates of note include March 8, which is recognized as International Women’s Day, the 15th are the Ides of March, the 17th is St. Patrick’s Day, and March 20 is International Earth Day. Also, keep in mind Daylight Savings, which begins at 2:00 a.m. on March 12 and the Spring (Vernal) Equinox on March 20.
