Changing of the Guard

Every hour, 24-hours a day, 365-days a year, visitors can witness the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery. Not only did I have the privilege of seeing this elaborate ritual, but it was immediately followed by a somber wreath laying ceremony.

More than 400,000 active duty service members, veterans, and their families have been laid to rest in the cemetery. I was honored to have the opportunity to pay my respects to all those who have sacrificed so much in service to our country.
